What we store — and where

The following information is saved locally on your phone only, in a private database that only this app can access:

• Children's names and dates of birth
• Vaccine records (dates given, provider name, clinic, batch numbers, notes)
• Vaccine card photos (stored in your phone's private app storage)
• Reminder preferences
• App settings (theme, notification preferences)
• Your parental consent timestamp (required by India's DPDP Act 2023)

When does information leave your phone?

Only when you choose one of these actions:

• Export as PDF: You create the file and choose where it goes via Android's share sheet. We never see it.
• Share via QR code: The QR code is shown on your screen only. Nothing is transmitted to a server.
• Ask AI (on-device): All responses are generated entirely on-device using a built-in knowledge base. No questions or personal data are sent to any external service.
• Android Google Backup (optional): If you have Google Backup enabled in Android Settings, Android may back up your app data to your personal Google account. This is a standard Android feature and is controlled entirely by you. You can disable it in-app under Settings → Privacy & Security.

Children's data & DPDP Act 2023

This app stores health records for minors. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act) 2023, parental or guardian consent is required before storing a child's personal data. This consent is recorded locally on your device with a timestamp. We do not transmit or retain this consent record anywhere.

Vaccine schedule source

The vaccine schedule is based on India's National Immunization Schedule (NIS), published by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. You can verify the schedule at mohfw.gov.in under National Health Programmes → Immunization. The version in use is shown in Settings.

How to delete your data

Go to Settings → Delete All Data inside the app. This permanently removes all children, vaccine records, settings, and consent records from your device. Nothing is deleted from any server because nothing was ever stored on one.

Third-party SDKs

The following on-device libraries are used. None of them transmit your personal data:

  Google ML Kit (on-device OCR) Reads vaccination card photos using on-device text recognition. No image or text is uploaded to Google.
• 📱
  Google Play Billing Used only for the optional Pro upgrade purchase, handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.
• 🔲
  ZXing (QR code) Generates QR codes locally on your device. No data is transmitted.
